What the website does
V1 does not add analytics or advertising cookies to its website. The live website at v1-energy.com is hosted by Netlify. Fonts and images are served with the website rather than loaded from third-party font or advertising services.
Contact form submissions are processed by Netlify Forms on our behalf. Our privacy policy explains how we use the information you provide. Netlify Web Analytics processes website requests on the server to report page views, IP-based visitor counts, referring websites and approximate countries. It adds no analytics cookies or browser tracking script. Hosting services also process technical request information to deliver and secure the pages.
Client portal sign-in
The client portal at /portal/ uses Netlify Identity cookies called nf_jwt and nf_refresh to maintain and renew an authenticated session. Netlify’s sign-in library also stores the authentication session under gotrue.user in browser local storage. These are necessary for the account service you request when you sign in. The portal does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
The cookies have browser-session lifetimes. The local storage entry has no automatic browser expiry; the sign-in service controls whether the stored tokens remain valid. Use the portal’s Sign out button to clear its saved authentication session, especially on shared devices. You can also clear this website’s data in your browser settings.
Meter records are stored on the server. The portal does not place meter records in browser local storage or use a service worker to cache your account pages. Blocking necessary sign-in cookies or local storage may prevent the portal from working.
Links to other websites
Websites reached through external links apply their own cookie and privacy policies. We do not control their use of cookies or storage.

If we add analytics or another tool that stores information on your device, we will update this page before it goes live and ask for consent where required. The review date above records the latest update.
Anonymous website statistics
We measure aggregate use of the public website to improve its content and enquiry journey: page views, estimated engaged time, scroll depth, broad traffic sources, device and browser categories, approximate countries and cities, and clicks on survey, contact and report links. The client portal is excluded. We do not record form contents, visitor identities, IP addresses, precise coordinates or individual browsing histories in these statistics.
Our own measurement uses daily aggregate counters stored by Netlify Database and processed by Netlify Functions. The counters are kept for up to 13 months. We show city totals only after at least five measured page views in the selected reporting period. Engaged time is an estimate while the page is visible and active, pauses after 60 seconds without activity, and is capped at 30 minutes per page load.
We use the statistics only to improve this website, under our legitimate interests. Our browser measurement respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. You can stop it below without charge. The preference is stored on this browser under v1-statistics-disabled, without a visitor identifier, until you remove it or clear website data. This preference does not change Netlify’s separate server-side request analytics or necessary security processing.
Your browser settings
Your browser's privacy settings let you view, block or delete cookies and clear stored site data. The enquiry fields do not use cookies to store the information you enter.
