OH4 Annual Sustainability Report 2026

The V1 system is the OH4 Energy Saving System. This is OH4 Limited's inaugural sustainability report, reproduced here in full so it is easy to find, read and share.

Whose report this is. Every figure on this page belongs to OH4 Limited, the manufacturer of the system V1 installs: their operational carbon footprint, their ESG assessment, and ESG Pro Limited's certification of OH4. V1 Energy Solutions is a separate company and has not itself been assessed under the GRI framework. We publish this because our clients ask about the supply chain behind the product, and the honest answer is more useful than a brochure.

Delivering Practical Energy Efficiency

Improving Energy Performance in Existing Systems

At OH4 Energy Saving, sustainability begins with improving the performance of systems that already exist within buildings. Many organisations rely on heating and cooling infrastructure that continues to operate for years but often does so below its optimal efficiency. Rather than requiring costly system replacements, OH4 focuses on enhancing the performance of existing installations so they can operate more effectively and with lower energy demand.

By improving the efficiency of thermal transfer within these systems, organisations can reduce both operational energy use and associated carbon emissions. This approach allows businesses to make meaningful environmental improvements while maintaining operational stability and avoiding the disruption that large infrastructure upgrades often require.

Science Led Efficiency Innovation

The OH4 Energy Saving System is built upon principles of applied science and fluid dynamics that improve the way heat moves through water based heating and cooling systems. Installed externally on flow and return pipework, the system enhances the ability of circulating water to absorb and release thermal energy more efficiently throughout the system.

As a result, heating and cooling equipment can reach target temperatures more quickly and maintain those conditions with reduced energy input. By improving thermal exchange within the system, the technology enables buildings to operate more efficiently while maintaining the reliability and performance that organisations depend on for everyday operations.

Supporting Measurable Carbon Reduction

Energy efficiency improvements play an important role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions across commercial and residential buildings. OH4 works closely with organisations to measure energy performance before and after installation, allowing clients to identify and verify improvements in energy consumption and system efficiency.

These measurable reductions enable organisations to translate energy savings into carbon reduction outcomes using recognised reporting frameworks and government conversion factors. By supporting transparent measurement and verification, OH4 helps businesses demonstrate real progress towards environmental targets and strengthen their sustainability reporting.

Enabling the Transition to Net Zero

As organisations work towards long term decarbonisation objectives, improving the efficiency of existing infrastructure represents a practical and scalable pathway for emissions reduction. Many buildings continue to rely on established heating and cooling systems, making efficiency improvements an important step in reducing energy demand across the built environment.

OH4's technology provides a low disruption solution that allows organisations to reduce emissions while maintaining operational continuity. By enabling measurable improvements in energy efficiency, the company supports businesses in building credible and achievable pathways towards Net Zero while strengthening long term environmental performance.

Making Sustainability Count

Sustainability at OH4 Energy Saving is grounded in practical action and measurable outcomes. By improving the efficiency of heating and cooling systems, the company helps organisations reduce energy consumption, lower operational costs, and minimise carbon emissions while maintaining existing infrastructure.

As businesses increasingly focus on environmental responsibility and long term resilience, solutions that deliver real efficiency improvements are becoming essential. The following sections outline how OH4 integrates environmental responsibility, social impact, and strong governance practices into its operations and the services it delivers to clients.

Environment

Environmental responsibility is central to OH4's mission of improving energy efficiency within buildings and infrastructure. By enhancing the thermal performance of existing heating and cooling systems, the company supports organisations in reducing energy demand and lowering greenhouse gas emissions.

Social

OH4 recognises that sustainability extends beyond environmental performance alone. The company actively engages with industry networks, local organisations, and community initiatives to support businesses and communities in beginning their sustainability journey.

Governance

Strong governance underpins OH4's approach to responsible business practice. The company is committed to transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement in how it measures and manages its environmental impact.

Our Environmental Approach

Driving Energy Efficiency in the Built Environment

Improving energy efficiency within existing buildings is central to OH4 Energy Saving's environmental mission. Heating and cooling systems represent one of the largest sources of energy consumption across commercial and residential properties, and improving their performance can deliver immediate reductions in both energy use and carbon emissions. By focusing on optimisation rather than system replacement, OH4 enables organisations to reduce their environmental impact while maintaining the infrastructure already in place.

The OH4 Energy Saving System enhances the thermal efficiency of water circulating through heating and cooling networks. Installed externally on existing pipework, the system improves the way heat is absorbed and released within the system, allowing heating and cooling equipment to reach target temperatures more efficiently and operate with lower energy demand.

Our Carbon Footprint

While OH4 maintains a relatively small operational carbon footprint, the company's greatest environmental contribution is delivered through the impact of its technology in client buildings. By improving system efficiency and reducing energy demand, installations typically deliver measurable reductions in fuel or electricity consumption across heating and cooling operations.

These reductions generate what are known as Scope 4 emissions, often referred to as avoided emissions. Scope 4 reflects the greenhouse gas emissions prevented as a result of energy efficiency improvements delivered by a product or service. In the case of OH4, improving thermal efficiency allows client organisations to reduce energy consumption and avoid the emissions that would otherwise result from electricity generation or fossil fuel combustion, contributing to wider decarbonisation efforts across the built environment.

Our Social Approach

Supporting Communities and Industry Collaboration

At OH4 Energy Saving, social responsibility is reflected through collaboration with industry partners, local organisations, and professional networks that support responsible business practices and sustainable development. By working closely with organisations across sectors, the company contributes to wider conversations around energy efficiency, sustainability, and responsible operational practices.

Industry engagement plays an important role in this approach. Through partnerships and membership within regional business and hospitality networks, OH4 supports initiatives that promote knowledge sharing, collaboration, and sustainable economic growth. These relationships strengthen the company's ability to work alongside organisations seeking practical solutions to improve energy efficiency and environmental performance.

Community engagement also forms part of OH4's social impact. By participating in local business initiatives and professional networks, the company contributes to regional collaboration that supports innovation, responsible energy use, and the development of sustainable business practices across the South West of the United Kingdom.

Through continued engagement with industry bodies, professional organisations, and community initiatives, OH4 aims to support a business environment where sustainability, efficiency, and responsible growth are shared priorities.

Our Governance Approach

Responsible Business and Transparent Reporting

Strong governance underpins OH4 Energy Saving's approach to responsible business practice and long term sustainability. The company is committed to operating with transparency, accountability, and clear oversight of its environmental and operational performance. Structured internal processes ensure that sustainability commitments are supported by reliable data, recognised reporting methodologies, and consistent monitoring of environmental impact.

Environmental reporting is aligned with recognised frameworks, including Public Procurement Notice 006 carbon reporting guidance. Through the regular measurement of greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption, OH4 is able to track its operational footprint, understand key sources of impact, and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
