Savings verified from real meter readings. No marketing maths. harry@v1-energy.com
The process

How it works

Four steps. No shutdowns, and no science degree required. The meters do the talking.

Watch: the V1 system, explained in 15 seconds.
1

Free site survey

Tell us about your building and send a few photos of the plant room and pipework. That is usually enough for us to scope the job and give you a fixed quote, along with a measurement plan we agree together before anything is installed.

2

Non-invasive installation

The V1 system wraps around your closed-loop heating or cooling pipework. Your systems keep running while we work: no cutting, no draining, no power supply, no interruption to residents, guests or trading.

3

Measurement, not guesswork

We compare consumption after installation against your agreed baseline, using your own meter readings, weather-adjusted where appropriate so a mild winter can never flatter the result. You watch the same numbers we do, live in the V1 Savings App.

4

Verified savings report

You receive a clear report of what your meters actually showed. Verified results across our ten published case studies sit in the 14–28% range, and the data decides whether a pilot becomes a rollout. At Ablecare Homes, it became all six sites.

For the engineers

The science, in plain English

The V1 system uses frequency-programmed magnetic sheeting that wraps around closed-loop pipework. In service, treated systems transfer heat more efficiently, so boilers and chillers work less to deliver the same comfort.

Here is the honest part: the physics of magnetic fluid treatment is debated, and we think the right response to that debate is measurement, not marketing. We do not ask anyone to take the mechanism on trust. We agree a measurement method up front, install without disruption, and let your own meters tell you whether it worked.

That is how a sceptical care home group became a six-site rollout.

Sceptical? Good. The strongest projects start that way. Ask us for a monitored pilot on one site: before-and-after metering, method agreed in writing, data shared as it arrives. If the saving is real, your meters will say so. If it isn't, they will say that too.

Frequently asked questions

Is there any downtime?

No. The system wraps around your pipework while your plant keeps running. There is no cutting, no draining and no electrical connection.

Does it need a power supply or maintenance?

No power supply and no moving parts. Once fitted, there is nothing to service.

What does it cost?

It depends on system size and pipework. A short call plus a couple of plant room photos is usually enough for a fixed quote, and the quote sets out cost against the projected saving so payback is transparent.

How soon will we see results?

The system works from the day it is installed, but a credible verified number needs enough metering data for a fair like-for-like comparison. For heating systems that typically means comparing across a season, weather-adjusted. You follow the data live in the V1 Savings App rather than waiting blind.

What happens if the meters show no saving?

Then that is what we report. The measurement method is agreed in writing before installation, so the result is never up for debate. Most customers start with a single-site pilot for exactly this reason.

Does it interfere with our existing plant?

Nothing is inserted into your system and nothing is connected to it. The sheeting wraps around the pipe, and your plant, controls and maintenance regime carry on exactly as before.
